◆ About the Tap Water
The property uses groundwater, which contains naturally occurring minerals from the surrounding hot spring area. Because of this, the tap water may have a slightly salty or mineral taste.

The water is hygienically safe and can be used without concern for brushing your teeth, showering, and other everyday purposes.

However, because of its distinctive taste, bottled water is provided for drinking. Six bottles—one for each guest—are available in the refrigerator.

If you need additional drinking water, please purchase it at a nearby convenience store or supermarket.

A. Yes. You can enjoy the natural, free-flowing hot spring 24 hours a day.

Q. Is Wi-Fi available?
A. Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available, making the property comfortable for workations and longer stays.

Q. Is parking available?
A. Yes. Free parking is available directly in front of the property.

Q. Can we have a BBQ?
A. Yes. A BBQ area is available for guests. Please bring your own BBQ grill, charcoal, and other necessary equipment, as these are not provided. When using the BBQ area at night, please keep noise to a minimum out of consideration for our neighbors.

Q. What amenities are provided?
A. Bath towels, face towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. Please bring your own pajamas or sleepwear.

Q. Are there convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?
A. Convenience stores, supermarkets, and drugstores are located in central Shibecha, about a 20-minute drive away. We recommend purchasing groceries and daily necessities before check-in. If you are arriving from Kushiro, it is best to do your shopping in Kushiro before heading to the property.

Our family has spent many memorable stays in the Shirarutoro area over the years. Captivated by its peaceful atmosphere and rich natural surroundings, we eventually inherited this home. We prepared this retreat with the hope that guests can experience the unique nature of Eastern Hokkaido, from the many wild birds that visit Lake Shirarutoro to the iconic red-crowned cranes. We hope you settle in as if you were living here, slow down, and enjoy the beautiful nature and peaceful rhythm of life that make the Shirarutoro area so special.
