Located in the heart of Teshikaga, Rokumeisha is a private vacation rental accommodating up to 12 guests and welcoming pets. Originally a stationery store, the building has been renovated into a unique stay decorated with artwork inspired by the wildlife of Eastern Hokkaido.
With easy access to Lake Mashu and Lake Kussharo, as well as shops and other conveniences nearby, it makes an ideal base for families and groups exploring the region and enjoying outdoor adventures.

Q. How many toilets and bathrooms are there?
A. There are two toilets on the first floor and one bathroom. For larger groups, we also recommend visiting nearby day-use hot springs or public baths in Kawayu Onsen or central Teshikaga.
Q. Where are pets allowed to stay?
A. Pets are permitted only in the entrance lounge immediately inside the property. A pet cage and other pet amenities are provided.
Q. Is Wi-Fi available?
A. Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available, making the property comfortable for workations and longer stays.
Q. Is parking available?
A. Yes. Free parking is available behind the property, with space for multiple vehicles.
Q. Can we have a BBQ?
A. Unfortunately, BBQs are not permitted. For fire safety and consideration of our neighbors, the use of open flames outdoors is prohibited.
Q. What amenities are provided?
A. Bath towels, face towels, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided. Please bring your own pajamas or sleepwear.
Q. Are there convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?
A. Convenience stores, supermarkets, and drugstores are located in central Teshikaga, about a 3-minute drive away. Restaurants are also nearby, making the location convenient for both dining and shopping.

As I traveled to different places pursuing my interests in hunting and fishing, I became captivated by the rich natural beauty of Teshikaga and decided to create this retreat. Inside, you’ll find a collection of hunting-related items I have gathered over many years, offering a glimpse into the culture of living closely with nature and the unique character of this region. We hope you enjoy the outdoors, immerse yourself in the surrounding nature, and spend a peaceful and relaxing time here.
